The Energy Technology List (ETL), or Energy Technology Product List (ETPL), is a government list of energy-efficient plant and machinery.
The ETL is a government list of energy efficient plant and machinery. To be listed, a product must meet the ETL's energy saving criteria. This is typically set at the top 25% of products in the market.
In essence cabinets are tested to EN441 and then rated for energy consumption to the ETL criteria.
The criteria differ slightly dependent on the type of cabinet, for example:
commercial cabinet, open deck or solid door cabinet.
