Below is a passively cooled switch gear housing for the Libyan Desert.
This was a prototype for the Great Man Made River Project to transport water across the Libyan Desert.
Its function is to provide an enclosure for switch gear and to prevent the internal temperature exceeding 50°C during the diurnal fluctuation.
