CRT’s extensive library includes approximately 12,000 books and conference proceedings, patents, standard and 100 current periodicals. The
library database can be accessed directly from the CRT website.

CRT library has a very diverse collection of books, papers and abstracts covering the carriage of perishable, dry and hazardous cargoes, refrigerated ship and container information, cold store design, and general refrigerated machinery. There is a large general reference section as well as product, and manufacturers publications.
CRT library also has a wealth of archival information on early refrigeration methods, machinery design, and refrigerants dating from the early 19th
century.
The library provides a reference source and book loan service for RTIS
members and periodical abstract scanning service for members and
non-members. In addition, the library can provide and obtain recommended books on various topics and advise on the leading periodicals from either a subject or country viewpoint.

RTIS Members are welcome to visit the library and use its services between 09.00h and 17.00h from Monday to Friday. Appointments are requested for non-members.
